Alphabet Poems Word Pocket Activity

Alphabet Poems Word Pocket Activity

If you love my alphabet poems, you will love this set of Alphabet Poem Word Pockets. This set includes 26 alphabet poems that were created to fold, staple, and create a pocket with. It also includes the "alphabet words" from each poem.

Students cut out the pictures with words that begin with each alphabet letter, read the words, and place them in the pocket. This provides an engaging way for your kiddos to practice their letters of the alphabet, and words that begin with each letter after reading each alphabet poem. You can also have your students pull the words out of the pocket as you are reading the poem.

Ten Counting to 10 Math Tubs for Kindergarten

Ten Counting to 10 Math Tubs for Kindergarten

If you are looking for basic counting activities for kindergarten, check out this set of Counting to 10 Math Tubs! This set of 10 counting activities is perfect for introducing and reinforcing counting skills at the beginning of kindergarten. Place one tub, or math activity, on students' desks in the morning when they come in to class (or during center time). Students complete the math tub activity while you are taking attendance and completing all of those teacher "to do's."

These activities are all hands on, and use manipulatives that most kindergarten classrooms have. I created this set in both color or black and white for easy printing. I print my math tubs on tagboard and then laminate! Simply rotate the math tub the following day, so students get a new counting activity. Simple as that!
