Hey Friends! Can you believe that the Christmas holiday is over, and we are beginning to think about lessons and activities for January? Snow, Winter, Arctic Animals, and More.....Those are just some of the topics that I love to teach in January!
Speaking of snow, while on Christmas break I created this CVC Snowman craft to have ready for our winter literacy centers. This craft is simple to prep for the classroom and includes 20 different word families for students to practice.
These CVC Word Family snowmen can be printed on construction paper, or you can print them on black and white and let your students color the craft.
Students cut out the snowman pieces and build the snowman. They then read the CVC Word Family Words. You can also let your students each build a different snowman, display them, and then let your students read all of the word family words.
