If you're a fan of my Alphabet Poems, you will LOVE the latest addition that features an animal craft topper for your students to personalize! With each Alphabet Poem, students can create a corresponding animal-themed craft. These crafts make an ideal culmination to the week's activities, serving as a creative reward for daily practice of the poem.

The crafts are simple to create! Students color the animal, cut the animal out, and glue the animal to the top of the poem. Students can then find the alphabet letter that you are studying in the poem and highlight it.

March 🍀Rainbow 🌈 Word Family Craft for Kindergarten

Can you believe that tomorrow is the first day of March? 🍀 If you are looking for an educational craft to display in your classroom during the month of March, check out my newest word family craft. These word rainbows let your students create a rainbow (coming from a cloud) and then write word family words and attach them to the rainbow.

Wouldn't it be fun to let each of your students create a rainbow 🌈 with a different word family? You could display them in your classroom and practice reading all of the word families together! You could hang these from the ceiling or create a march bulletin board. 💛💜

Animal Writing Books

Do your kids love learning about animals? If so, your students may love my animal writing books! These books are simple to use with very little prep for you.

Begin by selecting an animal for your students to write about by choosing from one of the 40 animal covers that I have created. Next, add blank writing pages to the book. You can pick as many pages as you would like to your books depending on the writing abilities of your students. Finally, bind the books and you are ready!

You can also create a class book with these templates. Each student can complete one page of the book and then you can bind them all together. These books can be put in your classroom library!

This resource includes 40 animals, which should make it easy to find an animal your students will love. I have also created the set in color or black and white, so your kids can color the book cover.
