Kindergarten students at the end of the school year are readers! You have worked so hard to shape them into fluent readers, and with that comes the need for more challenging reading materials. I created this set of 25 reading passages to use at the end of kindergarten. Each passage focuses on one specific sight word. Students read the passages, and fill in the blanks with the given sight word. Simple! You can complete these passages during your guided reading sessions, or display them using your projector! You can also write them on chart paper and let your kiddos help you fill in the missing sight words during your shared writing time. You choose! If you would like to use them in your classroom, check them out here!
